VB makes verifying your server members super easy. When a new user joins your server VB will send them a message asking them to verify themselves, if they complete the verification correctly they will gain access to your server channels.
Methods
VB includes 2 types of verification, Captcha and Button.
Captcha
Captcha is a bunch of random, disfigured-looking letters that the user will have to enter to verify themselves
Button
Button verification will ask the user to click the correct button, the correct button number will be included in the message
Server Changes
VB will add a few things to your server to make the verification system work.
Here's a list:
- Will create a verification channel that users will be prompted to verify in
- Will create a not verified role that new users will be given when they join
- Will Update the permissions for every channel in your server to make sure unverified users cannot see the other channels
- Optionally you can create a log channel for verification logs to go to
Setup
Setting up VB is your server is super simple, all you need to do is run the /setup command and then continue clicking the buttons and you will find that your server has been set up.
If you ever want to change something with your current set up you can use the /edit command which will let you change your verify channel, not verified role, log channel, and your verification method.
